About WaterZeker
WaterZeker B.V. was founded to develop, transfer and safeguard the knowledge behind good swimming education. We build training, teaching methods and certification lines, and advise schools, pools and governments on water safety.

Every child water-safe — substantiated and traceable
Water safety begins with good education: well-designed learning paths, expert instructors and certificates that mean what they promise. WaterZeker develops these building blocks and keeps their quality independently intact.
What we stand for
Expertise, independently assured
WaterZeker grew out of thirty years of practice in swimming education and water safety, led by Shiva de Winter. We translate that practical knowledge into methods, training and assessment frameworks that apply anywhere.
We vouch for the method and the standard — not for a desired outcome. With us, quality is independent of commercial interest.
Collaboration
NSWZ and De WaterExpert
For the Dutch Foundation for Water & Swimming Safety (NSWZ) we develop and manage certification lines, assessment frameworks and quality standards.
With De WaterExpert — the knowledge and authority brand of Shiva de Winter — we collaborate on research, knowledge development and publications on water safety.
What we do
From teaching method to licence
We develop and publish teaching materials, handbooks, protocols, digital products and knowledge bases, and carefully manage the associated intellectual property rights.
We also contribute to grants, tenders, pilots and education projects, together with schools, governments, foundations and knowledge institutions.
